A counselling space for children and teens

Individual counselling offers children and teens a space that is truly theirs: a place to slow down, be heard, and make sense of what is happening in their inner world and everyday life.

For younger clients especially, talking face-to-face is not always the easiest or most natural way to express what they feel. Sessions may include conversation, art, play, journaling, sensory tools, movement, or creative activities, always shaped around your child’s age, needs, comfort, and interests.

These approaches can help children and teens feel more present, supported, and able to notice what is happening in their thoughts, emotions, and bodies. Rather than expecting them to have the “right” words, counselling makes room for expression in ways that feel more accessible and natural.

My role is to offer a warm, steady space where your child can build emotional awareness, confidence, coping tools, and a kinder relationship with themselves. Parents remain an important part of the process, with appropriate communication about goals, practical support, and any concerns related to safety.

Counselling is for boys and girls who may experiencing anxiety, be feeling worried, overwhelmed, stuck, hard on themselves, affected by friendships or school stress, or simply in need of a space to check in and feel understood.

More than an activity.

More Than Enough was created as a space for girls to slow down - not to perform, keep up, or have the perfect answer, but to notice what is happening within them.

Through creative activities, art, play, conversation, and sensory experiences, we make room for both the mind and body to be involved. Texture, colour, movement, touch, and creating alongside others can support regulation and help girls feel more present, grounded, and connected.

This is not about making something perfect or rushing to learn a lesson. It is about giving feelings space, making meaning of real-life experiences, and practising empathy for ourselves and each other.

Girls may walk in feeling unsure. With time, they may leave feeling more open, calm, connected, and more like themselves.

Each gathering combines intentional counselling support with creativity, connection, and play.

Anxiety Counselling

When experiencing anxiety, your thoughts can become consumed by worry, fear, and a sense of unease.

These thoughts can be persistent and may feel difficult to control.
